Danielle Meikrantz Danielle started and continues to be the driving force behind Downtown Augusta Rentals, launching the company for renters and investors focused on the Olde Town, Harrisburg, and Summerville neighborhoods of Augusta. She has long been part of the transformation of downtown Augusta as a renter, homeowner, renovator, multifamily property owner and investor. She also manages a short-term rental business, managing Airbnbs, and offers staging for homes for sale and Airbnbs. Before working in real estate, Danielle led branding, marketing, and merchandising for a retail business and provided financial services to a Massachusetts wealth management firm, among other roles. The first thing you’ll notice about Danielle is her red hair and big smile. Originally from Augusta, she has spent time in Boston where she learned to live life a little out of the box, which has led her to a career where she is energized by the clients she works with and the excitement that real estate offers. During her time up North, she also fell in love with three things: Being a problem solver and facing challenges, Boston sports, and her husband. Two out of the three are still going strong today. She and her husband, Chris, live in downtown Augusta’s Olde Town neighborhood with their children, Mary Stewart, Charlie, and Willa.

Pierce Legeion, Listing Specialist Pierce joined Downtown Augusta Rentals in 2021 and is responsible for the photography and marketing of our rental properties. He also owns his own photography business, PLAN Media, offering real estate photography and drone services in the Augusta area. Before getting into real estate, Pierce worked as a TV weatherman and reporter for several stations, including FOX 54 here in Augusta. This is where he learned the ins and outs of photography and videography and became an FAA-certified drone pilot. After nearly a decade in TV, he decided it was time for a change, combining his love for photography, videography, and real estate into a new venture. For him, it’s the best of both worlds! He lives with his husband, Andy, and 2 dogs just across the Savannah River in North Augusta. In his spare time, Pierce enjoys hiking, biking, swimming, paddle boarding, and enjoying all that the area has to offer. |
Stephen Long, Analyst Stephen joined the team in 2021 and works as a financial and data analyst. He primarily focuses on studying the market and creating financial models to evaluate the valuation of a client’s asset or potential investment. This means calculating a client's return on their investment, cap rates, creating pro forma operating statements, and creating an overall investment analysis that is made available to the client. When he was a sophomore in college, he got his real estate license while still pursuing a degree in finance at Augusta University. He has over two years of experience in the real estate world and plans on finishing his degree in finance at Augusta University in the spring of 2022. If you knew Stephen, you would know that he was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, and is a graduate of Evans High School. When choosing where to go to college, Stephen chose to stay close to home and go to Augusta University because he loves the city and enjoys being a part of this community. Stephen volunteers with a non-profit organization called Young Life at Greenbrier High School. In addition, he attends First Presbyterian Church in downtown Augusta, works out at Evans Fitness Club and Active Climbing, and loves going to places in downtown Augusta with friends. It doesn’t matter if it's Columbia County or Richmond County, Stephen just enjoys being in Augusta. Lastly, with his goal of reading a book a week for a year, he enjoys sitting outside at night and reading a good book. |
